This is the fun part - for us, anyway! This is where you get to hand your work over to Hirstywords and we rip in (technical term). 

Copy editing is a many-tentacled beast. Sentence structure, tone, voice, style, spelling and grammar, paragraph structure, punctuation and readability are all things we will go over like the word-nerds we are. It's what we are good at. It's what your writing needs in order to get ready for the next stage in its creative life. Pour yourself a drink or three, replenish your creative juices while we carefully edit your work for you.

If there are any issues in terms of general structure, this is also where we will pick them up and offer structural advice. Perhaps there is unnecessary repetition, or tautology; perhaps you have rambled a tad in places or some adverbs need slashing. Perhaps there is unnecessary repetition (!). We will make recommendations to the structure of your work, get it flowing and send it back to you, all sparkly and fresh.
