Quite often at publishing houses, a new writer is assigned to an anonymous editor who has little direct contact with you until the editing is through. We don't want this for you! We have been through the editing experience ourselves, so we are uniquely positioned to know just how important it is to a writer to be involved in the process as it happens. We get it.

Hirstywords will be in direct contact with you throughout any of the editing services you require. Not with every paragraph or page, that is unnecessary and impractical. However, we will update you frequently throughout the process. We will promptly answer any questions you have as they arise, and we will happily (we promise!) discuss progress with you, whenever your stress levels become unmanageable and you simply MUST hear something back about your work.
